COMMUNICATIONS DESIGN CONFERENCE Are you a Communications Design Expert? The Communications Design Conference, a vital new forum presenting leading-edge solutions for wired , optical , and wireless systems, is looking for technical experts to help define and address the design challenges for the communications systems of today and tomorrow. From Bluetooth to information appliances and 10Gb optical systems, the conference will take an in-depth look at the architectural design challenges engineers face when producing communications equipment. Key topics include 3G design, network processing, DSP design, RF/ IF techniques, Bluetooth design, high-speed switching, home networking, voice-over-packet development, and next-gen SONET architectures. Conference Format: The Communications Design Conference will present both moderated paper sessions presenting insights on specific design issues and in-depth training workshops offering practical , how-to solutions for designers. White papers for inclusion in the proceedings on CD-ROM will be required for all presentations. Presenters will be selected on the strength of their proposals and their own technical expertise. The conference is not a forum for sales pitches. Proposals that are perceived by show management to promote/ sell products will not be accepted into the program. Final placement of accepted presentations is at the discretion of the co-chairs. Submitting a Proposal Al l proposals for consideration must be submitted over the web at All submissions must include presentation title , 200 word abstract and outline, full contact information, and 80 word bio for all presenters.
